Zoe Suche practices primarily in family law. She was called to the bar in Alberta in 2017, and in British Columbia in 2020. She is part of PLLR’s full-service family law practice, and has represented and advised clients regarding parenting, financial support, asset division, separation agreements, and cohabitation and prenuptial agreements.

Angie Sung is a litigation associate at PLLR. She has a broad litigation practice in employment law, commercial disputes, family law, and general civil litigation. She has advised and represented clients appearing before the BC Supreme Court, the BC Provincial Court, the Employment Standards Branch, and the BC Human Rights Tribunal. She also has experience representing clients in mediations and negotiations.

Matthew is a seasoned litigator with 10 years of legal experience. He practices in construction and general commercial litigation, and has handled a wide variety of disputes, including disputes involving commercial contracts, construction errors, and loans.

David Chong has been a practicing lawyer in British Columbia since 2015. David was practicing in Vancouver before joining PLLR Lawyers as an associate in 2025. He practices as a general solicitor in the areas of commercial and residential real estate financing and transactions. David’s practice areas also include corporate, commercial/business law, estate planning and commercial leasing.
David volunteers at his church and is passionate about aviation and history.

Brian Corcoran has been a practicing lawyer since 2004. His practice focuses on Corporate and Commercial, Finance and Real Estate Law. He assists private and institutional clients with regard to a wide variety of matters including corporate structures and reorganizations, buying and selling businesses, lending and borrowing, purchase and sale of real estate, and more.

Richard Dempsey is a litigator focusing mainly on personal injury and insurance, and he has handled numerous complex cases involving traumatic brain injury and other serious injuries. Although most of his practice has been in the Lower Mainland, he has also worked in the Okanagan, Vancouver Island, Cariboo-Chilcotin, Columbia and Kootenay regions of British Columbia.

Karen Dylla has practiced as a lawyer in Richmond since 1988. Originally a general solicitor, for many years now she has focused on Wills and Estate and Incapacity planning, Probate practice and Estate Administration.

Henry enjoys finding creative solutions for circumstances which require in-depth analysis, combining his interest in complexity with his skill for accuracy.

Gary Hagel is a lawyer and mediator. He has been a practicing lawyer since 1999, and as a litigator he has represented clients at all levels of court in BC. He now focuses his practice on Wills & Estates (planning, probate/administration and litigation), Employment law and Mediation.

Mark Killas is an estate and trust litigation lawyer. He advises and represents clients regarding wills, trusts, inheritances, powers of attorney, incapacity, undue influence, unjust enrichment claims, joint ownership, joint tenancy, joint accounts.

Tony Kwan has been a practicing lawyer since 1994. He practices in the areas of real estate development (from the initial purchase of the lands through to rezoning and then the eventual development and sale of individual units), commercial financing (acting for both lenders and borrowers) and major commercial transactions.

Kate is experienced in residential and commercial real estate development, commercial transactions, and finance. Kate acts primarily for real estate developers and lending institutions, but she also acts regularly for business owners with respect to private merger and acquisition transactions, including asset and share purchase transactions, amalgamations, and corporate reorganizations.

Robert (“Bob”) Mostar has maintained a busy litigation practice since 1979. He works primarily in the area of Family Law, although his litigation practice remains varied and diverse, and includes personal injury and abuse and assault claims (including sex assault/abuse). He is an enthusiastic member of the Collaborative Divorce Vancouver practice group and, when appropriate, will try to guide clients away from the expensive and potentially destructive court system.

Brian Purcell is the managing partner of PLLR Lawyers. His practise focuses primarily on corporate, commercial/business law, commercial real estate and commercial leasing.

Clayton Rubinstein practices civil litigation with a focus in construction disputes, estate litigation and personal injury, though he has also helped many clients in other areas of law. He enjoys working with his clients and strives to reach timely and effective resolutions of any issues they face.

Thomas (“Tom”) Russell has been practicing law since 1972, and is one of the founding partners of PLLR. He practices in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, and corporate transactions.

Vina Sayson is a lawyer and trusted advisor to her clients, with over 18 years of experience helping clients with wills and estates, business law and real estate matters. In addition to guiding clients through personal matters such as their estate and incapacity planning and the probate and estate administration process, Vina also assists and advises clients with business and real estate transactions, commercial leasing and real estate development.
